Jessica Bruder is a reporter for the Oregonian. She has also written for the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the New York Observer.
When she isn't hunched over a laptop, she enjoys punning painfully, snowboarding, strumming her electric guitar, and welding awkwardly but with great enthusiasm.
She doesn't often write about herself in the third person, but wishes to make a good impression on you in hopes that you will read her book.
She lives in Portland, Oregon and (sporadically) online
at limelike.com.
You can reach her (no spam, please!) at
