Jessica Bruder is an adjunct professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She has written for Harper's Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Inc., the Washington Post, The New York Observer, The Oregonian and numerous other publications.
When she isn't hunched over a laptop, she enjoys punning painfully, snowboarding, strumming her electric guitar, growing purple tomatillos on her roof and welding awkwardly but with great enthusiasm.
She lives in Brooklyn and online (somewhat outdatedly)
