Jessica Bruder is an adjunct professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She has written for the New York Times, the Washington Post, the New York Observer and the Oregonian.
When she isn't hunched over a laptop, she enjoys punning painfully, snowboarding, strumming her electric guitar, and welding awkwardly but with great enthusiasm.
She lives in Brooklyn and online (somewhat outdatedly)
